First snow of 2012..

We received our first snow for the winter. The snow will be gone by this afternoon. The temperature for today is going to be in the 50's.

Put out Ronstar G application around the greens today. We also did a few of the bad Tee boxes.

Reclaiming Hole #16 from the creek and weeds.

We are currently in the final stages of  this project. The goal of this project was to provide a esthetically pleasing hole while enhancing the playability.

 

The scope of this project included removing a bunker from the left side of the green, raising the grade to improve drainage and recapture some rough areas, and make the left side and back side of the green more receptive to errant shots.

We started by using the slit and clays from the creek to build up the edges. We also added drainage to help remove the standing water that this hole has.

The sod has been laid and now we wait for spring.....
